Many Christians also try to spread their religion and convince people to convert and believe in the Christian beliefs/ways. Christians believe in the Judeo- Christian God. They believe that Jesus is the son of God and that there is no other God than the one God itself. Therefore, Christianity would be considered a monotheistic religion. The term monotheistic is a belief (for example a religion) in only one God. This would differ from a polytheistic, which is the belief in multiple gods. Christianity would also be considered the most prominant religion too, in Canada. Christiaity is divided into three main branches. 5. Is there conflict of religion in Canada?
There is little to no conflict in Canada about religion. Canada doesn't have an official religion. Therefore, they are open to and have a large diversity of people and their religious beliefs in its country. Canada's government actually supports the diversity of religions within the country. This is a main prominent factor of why religion doesn't cause major conflict within the country. Unlike other countries like Israel (which is a holy land to Christians), they have major conflicts within the country because of the amount of different religions there and the amount of power each religion wants. In Israel, the religions, Christianity, Judaism, and Islam co-exist with one another. The land has religious historic meaning to each one of these three religions. Canada doesn't have as many major conflict as other countries, like Israel, because Canada is an open and respectful country to a variety of different religions of their people.
